A watch will carry you to next phase in your life, and reflect a person's personality better than any other accoutrement. Based on their tastes and style, gifting someone with a watch is one of the most lasting, thoughtful gifts to give.
But I must admit that Eternahas done just that with its latest Contessamodels.
Seen here with a pink patent leather strap, there are other colors available as well to further accessorize your outfit. The pink is a little soft and girly for my style, but would definitely appeal to many women today. And, being that this line has been inspired by an icon in fashion, there are several other colors and options to chose from.
You can't take life too seriously - and lucky for us now - Kimora Lee Simmons and Hello Kitty have delivered us an easy watch option. Because we all need options.
The attrition rate is huge amongst opera singers, so it is a small, close-knit community. With such a small group of creative people, many share the passion and freely discuss and compare. While I love Omega and Rolex, many of my associates are interested in Breitlings and Panerai models.

Itay Noy is a totally Tel Aviv, Israel based watch maker. The brand is named after its founder, Itay Noy, who is the heart of the manufacture. He's won several international design awards, which makes sense given the impressive character and refinement of his designs. With an impressive collection of watches so far for the brand, I'd like to focus on his Duality line of watches only today. The Duality collection is literally two things in one. Two watches, with two contradictory attitudes. While not the first time a watch has been made with faces on both sides, this is the first time that I've seen an actual theme be applied to the concept. Thus, each watch in the collection is comprised of opposites, with associated symbolism on the watch designs themselves.
Using what can only be described as perceptive analysis, the always thoughtful Angular Momentum has incorporated Il Moretto into their newest timepiece. The case itself is about 40mm wide with in 18k gold and pave set — which means the diamonds are placed on the bezel, while the dial is black enamel. Il Moretto himself is highly decorated as is the tradition. In addition to being in gold with enamel, gilding includes diamonds, sapphires, pearls, and gold leaf. The attached alligator strap completes the watch for a nice display. Moretti watches are not for everyone of course, but for those who enjoy the history and concept of Il Moretto will be taken but the totally unique timepiece offering. From a practical standpoint, you can still enjoy a view of the time from the hour and minute disc window — that is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. Further, the figurine on the watch face should not be so high as to make the watch difficult to wear. Another very interesting piece from Swiss Angular Momentum.
Flower Petals and Diamonds and Rubies... What else would you want your watch to be made up of?
As a woman in my mid-twenties, who's been in a serious relationship for the better part of a decade, this is something that really interests me. Watches are my thing, so this would really impress me.
Inside is an automatic P-191 movement visible through the sapphire caseback window. I am glad it is not a manually wound watch, as I like to think this would be a great everyday wear. The case is pure Perrelet in style and form. With steel and gold options available, you can appreciate how the Perrelet Jumping Hour watch has a lot of potential in wardrobe and context application. The more black faced versions have a distinctly formal evening persona, while the more steel colored face is arguably more classic and sporty.
This should be no problem for the woman wearing this, though, as I doubt she is someone who sits still a lot. A woman who owns an RSW Moonflower goes wherever she wants. And this is one timepiece that is up for a challenge.
I think that just posting the images of this special one-off watch probably says enough. What else can I say? An intensely decorated movement made to look like an underwater scene. Not just that, but the actually movement itself is made to look like the sea floor. Simply amazing. The best part is that this is not just some concept or a piece of art. This will be placed in a real working watch. But probably just one. This movement is called the ImmenSEAty (clever right) and was created by young watchmaker Gabriel Salgado de Arce.
This watch was part of a project at the Confrerie Horlogere, which is a new arm of BNB Concept. I don’t know a lot about this new part of BNB Concept. Their website is still new and wasn’t totally live the last time I checked. It has something to do with young watchmakers, though the video below tells you more. The early output from the Confrerie Horlogere has been impressive though, but this ocean themed movement is my favorite. One of the most amazing aspects of the movement is the level of micro detail. Almost every square millimeter is covered with engravings and decoration. Whether it is a small sea star or shark, you can’t help but pay close attention to each scene on the surface. I can’t wait to see what the front of the watch will look like. While it is hard to tell, the movement is a tourbillion with a few interesting complications. In addition to showing the time on Earth, the watch shows the time of three other planets; Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn. Of course these planets do not have 24 hour days, so the time is amended for them. I look forward to seeing how this is displayed. The watch also has a power reserve indicator and is (of course) manually wound.
Available in Stainless Steel or Rose Gold, with white or brown alligator leather straps, this is a completely wearable timepiece. Wearable and petite. With a 33mm case, this is a tiny watch (for my standards.) I usually gravitate towards the bigger, edgier, more masculine watches. But this Elite Caliber powered model from Zenith can fit easily into daily life, given its slim case, small dial, and delicate nature.
I recently discovered the haphazardly named Ralf Tech line of watches (I'm sorry, but the name "Ralf Tech" inspires no horological confidence). Ralf Tech is a pretty well known diving equipment maker, who now has a few nice lines of diving watches. The French company makes some really nice watches at good prices starting at a few hundred bucks to about three grand for the top of the line limited edition automatic chronograph watches.
This is the first review were I took something apart because of past negative experiences with similar products. I needed to make sure that it was mechanically and electronically up to snuff before I could recommend it - but more on that later. You need a watch winder if you have any automatic mechanical watches. This takes the hassle out of winding your automatic watches when you aren't wearing them for more than a day or so. This is especially important if you have many automatic watches. I have had no less than a dozen watch winders in less than four years, and not all of them are "still alive." So a coherent review of a reasonably priced watch winder is merited.

So, let's take the obvious. Moon. Flower. Can you see them both? Together? Not at first... but, like those allusions, this watch offers so much more.
